Best boar brush!
I love my Belula brush, and especially the comb. After a few months of brushing and distributing oils out with this boar brush, it’s so much softer and more cooperative than before. My hair is long, about 27 inches, very fine, and other kinds of brushes always seem to rip and break it, while other boar brushes always seem too stiff.I’m a big fan of the wood handle. It’s easy to hold from the end or the brush head itself, lightweight, and sturdy. There was some bristle shedding for the first few weeks of regular use, but that’s expected with any natural fiber product.The comb that comes with it, however, is absolutely my favorite comb ever. The shape, the prong density, the finish on the wood, I could go on and on about it. It’s perfect for gentle detangling, and I use it all the time. The one that came with my original order did break, apparently due to a manufacturing error, but when I reached out to Belula to ask if they sell a replacement comb, they went ahead and sent me a new one.It comes in a beautifully presented box, great for gifting, with a storage bag, a towel headband, and a sticker seal so you know you’re not getting someone’s returned item. Even the box is well made, in case you’re the kind to reuse boxes.Great product, great presentation, great customer service. I plan to buy some as gifts in the future and will recommend it to anyone who will listen to me ramble about hair care.

Belula is worth the purchaseI ordered the brush a little nervously after reading most of the comments. However, as soon as I got the package I knew that those comments were WRONG. The board head brush arrived in a beautiful box. Inside was a cherry wood comb, a cotton spa facial headband, a traveling bag, and a letter that added a personal touch (see pictures).As you can see in my pictures the brush and comb have a dragonfly on them which contributes to the natural quality of the material.I first washed my brush (as the letter instructed) and waited for it to dry before use. Once I started brushing my hair (head upside down) I couldn’t stop! I was looking for a reasonably priced and high-quality boar bristle brush and finally found one!I have always used a boar bristle brush throughout my life and I had to say this was the best one! It’s only day two and I can see the difference in my hair quality; shine and texture. My scalp feels healthier and relaxed. I tend to have a scalp that aches even if I put it back with just a small clip. In the morning and before I go to bed I give myself a “treat” by combing and brushing my hair.You can not go wrong by buying this product- especially from Belula! From the design, materials, quality, personal touches, and reasonable prices- you are getting a great deal!It’s a shame that the company has to leave those misleading comments up. I know that they are leaving them, to be honest, but I can’t help but feel that it takes away another customer who is missing out on this incredible product. Therefore let me clear up some things that have wrongly been said:These are stated several times on this site, and even in the letter once you open your shipped box:1. The brush is soft- the brush bristle is 100% boar. Thus the brush is very soft. Many people are used to the harsh- hair ripping out brushes that scratch against your scalp. This brush is designed to treat your hair with the respect it deserves.2. The brush does not untangle hair- the comb is used to untangle hair- you should never use a brush (no matter the kind) to untangle your hair as it will only damage it.3. Brushing your hair upside down- this stimulates blood circulation and moves sebum. You need to “work your hair in order for it to be healthy. It’s similar to exercising in order to keep your body in shape.4. The brush can smell- when you first get the brush you have to wash it. Keep in mind you are putting water on a “boar”. It will smell- sometimes it is ferocious. Once it dries the smell goes away.I’m so happy with my purchase and am going to buy another one for a family member! Thank god I found Belula!Thank you for making me appreciate my hair and scalp again!

Noticed a difference right away
I love this set!!! It is such high quality, the packaging was so attractive and thoughtful, and I really liked the note they included inside. There’s an option to scan a QR code and have them plant a tree in your name. Above all else though, even after a day and a half of use I have noticed a visible difference in my hair. It is softer, shinier, and has much more body. I’m so excited to use it every night!!

Great but needs cleaning brush
Really great brush, firm but not too hard. It should have had a cleaning brush, not a headband. How many times will you brush your hair fully tied back as a opposed to needing to clean the hair caught in the brush?

I’m pretty sure it’s real especially the comb. The brush is mad for the scalp really it can stimulate the more hair growth. Although if you have thick hair it can be harder to reach your scalp. Though it says it brings good oils down throughout your hair it seems understandable. It’s great tho. Worth the price too because it seems real.

Top Quality Product
One use of this boar hair brush and you’ll see that the quality speaks for itself. My scalp looks and feels amazing. Prior to now, my hair was long and down to the middle of my back. It’s currently is shorter in length, (fine and thin, which it’s always been), but the longer my hair gets, the curls become more defined. The brush glides through and untangles with ease.

I remember these brushes were popular when i was yong but i didnt really know what the purpose of the bore bristles were at the time. This 100% bore bristle brush definitely helps with less breakage,it distributes the natural oils down your hair as you brush, making your hair shiny and soft. It’s best to separate your hair into sections and then brush your hair. I feel that my hair looks healthier and it definitely takes the frizz away giving you a smooth but full look. It is not a styling brush. I bought this same brush for my daughter and it is so much easier to brush her hair and she says that it doesn’t hurt like the brushes with plastic bristles and it doesn’t break her hair. I definitely recommend this brush to anyone who wants beautiful natural hair. Also I don’t wash my hair every day and by distributing the oils my hair feels better because the oils don’t build up at the roots.
