I purchased the sling in the mint color and I 100% recommend it. I struggled finding a sling large enough to hold all of my things and this one is plenty big enough. The material is also very durable and it wipes clean if you get it dirty. Plenty of pockets with a mesh zippered pocket for small things and a small pocket on tha side towards the back for quick access. Zippers are solidly made making the backpack secure. It also have a large adjustable strap that adjustes pretty far therefore making it ideal for people who may be taller. There are also several colors to choose from which makes pairing with an outfit easy. 5/5 stars for this one I would give it more if I could!

Great Size for a Tall Person
I bought this bag for a 3 week trip to Europe. Most of the sling packs I looked at seemed kind of tiny and looked silly on a 6’4″ man and don’t hold much. This Carhartt bag is larger than most and is more scaled to a taller person’s body. As always, Carhartt quality is top notch. Very happy with my purchase.

Very happy with this bag. I looked at all sorts of high-end and low-end bags and decided to give this one a shot – for price point, functionality, and design.Pluses:- The right number of pockets. I use the little phone pocket all the time; love that it’s slightly fuzzy to protect my phone. It’s that perfect, incredibly convenient stash pocket for the two items I carry everywhere – keys, phone. The chapsticks and the wallet live in the front zip pocket, which also has a key fob.- It stands up on its own! My last purse absolutely didn’t do that, and I love that I can put this thing down on a seat next to me and it stands up.- The big compartment is surprisingly spacious. I’m someone who travels like a minimalist, but I love that the big compartment is big enough to throw a midweight layer inside – think a sweatshirt. I’ve put lunchboxes in there before.- It lays very nicely across my back and is very easy to access all the pockets when I sling it forward.- I love that it has a small profile and hangs nicely from a peg. I have a peg by my door where this thing gets hung up the moment I get home = no more lost purse!Minuses:- the fabric is slightly shiny, which I’m sad about. Would have preferred a truly matte canvas fabric. I do think this is more durable and weather-resistant than matte canvas, though.- I’m right-handed, and this bag is designed to go over your right shoulder – which means the phone zip pocket has you reaching across your body with your right hand to access it. I got used to it pretty fast, but would’ve preferred a left-shoulder bag.- It’s a little bit industrial feeling. I made it better by removing the carhartt label and putting a little embroidery on the bag.- The hanging hook should be 1 cm longer; it can be difficult to get it over larger pegs.

Great day bag for Travel
I bought and returned a bunch of sling bags before finding this one and using it on a trip to europe. This bag was just about perfect.What most lack is storage capacity. This bag is quite small and slim when empty, but expands to fit quite a lot of stuff when you fill it up. One day on my trip, I was carrying a camera, umbrella, a down jacket, sunblock, two water bottles, some small souvenirs, with room to stuff in some more things if needed.A couple days I got rained on and soaked, but everything inside the bag remained dry.Other sling bags quickly became a pain on my shoulder, while I have now spent many days walking around with this for hours with no shoulder pain — granted I refrained from packing it with anything too heavy.Fabric is very lightweight, but feels rugged and durable. I expect the bag will last me forever.Cons:My biggest issue with the bag is it is one sided. It has to be worn on your right shoulder. So if you have pain on that shoulder, a preference for your left shoulder, or simply need to switch shoulders once in a while, you really can’t. The best you can do is wear it in front of you to sling it on the left shoulder, but it’s not the best Front-sling bag because it’s a bit large for that. I wish the design allowed you to switch which bottom corner the strap clipped on so that you can wear it on either side.Secondly, I’d like the hardware to all be metal and include some places to attach carrabiners. The clips on the strap are plastic. And if you stuff the pack and need a place to hang a Yeti water bottle, there isn’t really anywhere to attach a carabiner other than putting it around the strap itslef. But I’d like some dedicated loops or rings. If you hang anything from the loop on top, it will offset the balance when the bag hangs diagnolly on your back.Lastly, It would be nice if the main sipper had a way you can put a lock on it. Like if there were two zipper heads or if there was a loop at the top you could lock the zipper onto. This was never a problem, but I would like the option for that simple anti-theft precaution.

Have been loving this bag! Decent for when on my bike but great for hiking. Has a little stash pocket perfect for keys or important items and has quite a bit of space for the size. Unable to switch the shoulder strap side if thats a feature you look for.

I needed a small bag for the production floor area, this one fit the bill. It’s decently small and lightweight, with good pockets. It fits a standards size spiral notebook and clipboard, very very nice!

I use this daily for work for the last 8 months and it’s super durable and lives up to the Carhartt brand. Only thing is that is small. I was expecting it to be bigger but it’s a great daily bag if you don’t need to carry much!
