Beautifully Made
This blanket is very, very nice. Got it for my elderly Mom who needs to pile a lot of blankets on her bed to feel warm… one nap under this and she’s hooked! The weight is distributed perfectly so that she has no problem folding it back to get in and out from under it (and she has very little arm strength). When you initially take it out of the box, it feels very heavy; but spread out over the bed it’s quite manageable.

Took a while for me to get used to it
This review is an adjustment of a previous review on this product. I bought this blanket a few months ago and began using it all the time the last couple months. I’ve finally gotten used to and think I now prefer the feel of a weighted blanket. However, over a month ago, I started noticing a buildup of fabric pills throughout the entire blanket; but the seller provided a free replacement. Hopefully, this blanket won’t do the same.

Comforting, and not overbearing
I was rather surprised at the weight when I received this (ordered the heavier version). But as it’s spread out, that is diffuse and comforting.I also expected it to be too warm, but I have not experienced that, even through summer months.Pleasantly surprised all around. I’d buy this again.

Nice color, stitching is ok – doesn’t seem very compatible with duvet covers
This weighted blanket is made out of polyester and still feels pretty soft. The color is as pictured some of the stitching appears to be subpar. However, none of the glass beads are falling out, and everything is staying in place. The company recommends that you’ve use a duvet cover with a way to blanket. Being from the United States, I haven’t used a duvet cover very often. I didn’t realize until it was too late to return this blanket that it only has corner tie spots on the shorter side. Because it’s a twin sized blanket, it really should still have a couple of center ties on the shorter side. When I put it in a duvet cover, it doesn’t stay in place and likes to try to bunch up. It does have corner and middle ties on the longer side, but that’s it for those sides. If they sink, suggest that we use a duvet cover with this blanket, it should be better equipped to do so. Had I realized it earlier I would’ve returned the blanket.
