Runs large
Run very large! My husband wears a 13 or 14 but the size 11 fit him

Good quality for a Punjabi shoe
Having owned several cheap pairs of Punjabi shoes for my Sherwari, I’m impressed with the materials put into these. The soles appear to be 8 or 10oz leather, and the upper fabric is higher quality than I was expecting. The stitching is heavy duty. They threw in a free simple foam insole support not pictured. Kudos on them for that, most may use it. I’ll replace it with a high end insole support like Superfeet, as all these Aladdin style shoes are completely unsupported. They did do an odd choice to use white thread to sew the ankle piece to the front upper. I’ll dock them a half point for that. They also are really squeaky as of the first day, another half point lost there. Hopefully as they break in, that goes away. Far better quality than other shoes in this price range. I’ll hopefully update this in a few months on how they held up. Overall, if you out for your first pair, avoid cheaper and go with these first.

Serves its purpose well
The shoe seems a bit bigger than the size I ordered, but only by a half-size perhaps. This type of shoe I only wear for special events so its intricate design serves that purpose well. I understand it is not designed for comfort and daily wear and as such its arch support is negligible and durability low. For the occasional wear at formal events however, this is a decent shoe.
