Great kit, great price!
This is an amazing value. I haven’t used them yet, but the citrus and Jasmine remind me of home when I sniff them, I used to live on a farm where Jessamine grew under the orange trees.So what if the Jasmine is a fragrance (I see some comments here), it smells beautiful and there’s 10 oils in this pack…!The lavender smells more like what I’ve known quality lavender essential oil to smell like. This is my first time trying NOW oils, everyone seems to recommend them!Not a one leaked on the way.Edit, some months later:10 stars. I’ve been using them nonstop.Clove: has helped with joint and muscle pains by adding a drip to a vial of sweet almond oil, and smells like Christmas.Citronella, orange, tangerine: made my mother a mosquito repellent with it by adding a few drops to a spray bottle full of water (add glycerine if you want some hydration). Shake and spray. IT WORKED. We even sprayed our dogs (it’s safe). And smelled nice, in my opinion.Citronella: I read that it helps calm dogs… put it in the diffuser, dogs seem to like it. I guess.Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus: have made the best deodorant I have ever used by adding drops of these to a mix of baking soda, corn starch and coconut oil. Also made air and fabric freshener with them.Peppermint: Regularly in the diffuser when I get migraines in combo with the lavender.I’ve even added one drop to my water as a digestive aid.Jasmine: Smells funky in the diffuser, so I added some drops to little pieces of fabric around the house, lovely fragrance. Not good in the diffuser, though, it can smell a little bit like urine…Rosemary: made a beer conditioner and added rosemary, my hair was think and shiny. I’ve added it to DIY lash and and eyebrow oil because it helps with hair growth and maintenance (risky, don’t get it in your eyes, please). I’ve probably put it in some other topical blends as well. Supposedly helps with memory, so put it in the diffuser if you’re studying. Smells nice.These are all very versatile and this purchase was a great value. I’ve bought some more oils from NOW foods and I think they’re excellent quality for their prices.

I absolutely LOVE this set. A collection of the most useful oils, from a company that is KNOWN for it’s quality oils, at an unbelievable price. I’ve purchased this set 3 times in the last few years. I’ve given one set as a gift, and the other sets have been for my own use. Effective oils for everything from disinfecting, cleaning, pain management, and repelling creepy crawlies…***Essential oils are amazing natural remedies. It’s important to know what you are doing and how to mix and use them safely.I would recommend purchasing a book, or even considering a course, to help guide beginners on how to safely use these powerful oils.I’ve found no better grouping of oils for the quality and value provided with this set. Perfect for beginners, or ancient ‘oilers’ like myself who use EOs for everything. These are REAL, POTENT, and USEFUL!Some reviews that I’ve read, mention the fact that the Jasmine fragrance is a FRAGRANCE and not an essential oil. This is clearly displayed in the imagery. It’s a lovely fragrance and perfect for reed diffusers or to add to a oil warmer.Two last things… someone mentioned ‘ridged caps’ as a giveaway that these are not ‘real’ NOW products… people, please go to the official NOW site and you will see ridged caps on all sizes of their bottles….and one other quick mention…Essential oils are natural. They are PLANT Products that will vary from batch to batch and season to season. Recently there was a Rosehip blight that caused to all producers to shift to South American sources. The resulting oil was paler in color and less pungent. It was STILL 100% real, just not what I was used to. I called the NOW company directly and had a chat with CS…found out the info and got my answer.

Quality essential oils at a value price
NOW Foods Essential Oils are the best value I have found, and I have purchased a LOT of oils lately. These are quality EO’s in large bottles and are exactly what I need for my bath bombs, shower fizzies, lip balms, face creams and soaps. I immediately used several of the flavors to make a set of bath bombs and shower fizzies for a Valentines Day basket (pictured) that I am donating for a silent auction to benefit a local child who was seriously injured in a sledding accident.I love the variety of this package and plan to use the citronella in an all natural bug repellent this spring. The only one that disappointed was the Jasmine, which is not an essential oil but rather a fragrance oil (and I didn’t deduct a star because this is clearly stated in the description); it smells so nice but I refuse to use fragrance oils in my bath products. It will be awesome in my diffusers though! If you are looking for quality at an affordable price, this is the set for you.I rely heavily on reviews in my decisions to purchase.
