Before you Return it, Thinking it does not work…
LOVE THIS eyeliner!!!! I had all but given up on eyeliner. None seemed to give me that smooth finished look I longed for, even when I had my makeup professionally done!I learned of this Prime Eye eyeliner while I was reading a totally unrelated online article; and an ad for this eyeliner popped up. It advertised as for “mature” women and I thought…”hmmm, maybe I need to actually see what this is about…” and yes, it drew me in, so I did what I always do…headed over to Amazon to see if it was available on Amazon, and of course there it was!I immediately proceeded to read the AI overall review and some of the individual reviews. I was impressed and decided it was worth my coins. That is of course until I saw the price…I couldn’t rationalize $28 for an eyeliner stick.So I exited Amazon and moved on from it or so I thought.But that eyeliner t invaded my thoughts for several days, and I finally decided, it probably isn’t worth it, but I have to at least know if it lives up to its claims, and I talked myself into why I would spend $28 on an eyeliner stick.It arrived today, while I was at daughter and son-in-law’s house , and I told her about it and said I should try it at that moment and she agreed.So I went to her powder room mirror to put some on, and I, like several reviewers, thought I had gotten a “dud” eyeliner stick. But I decided perhaps I need to read some instructions (which is crazy, because how difficult can using eyeliner be, right?)Meanwhile, my daughter asks to see it and of course she figured it out straightway!Wow! Wow! Wow! I applied it and it was so smooth and so defining, I was sold!I felt like I had struck gold!I had actually stopped wearing eyeliner, except for special occasions, because, it would run, smudge, skip, and take several traces over and over again just to get a consistent line. It was truly a hassle that I was long since over. But this Prime Eye eyeliner, checks all those boxes with a no, it doesn’t run, it doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t skip, and one…do you understand?…ONE line does it, no need to pass back over and over tracing the line to fill in the gaps!It blends well, goes on smooth, has excellent longevity, no need to touch up, and this is the first eyeliner that seems hypoallergenic because it didn’t irritate my eyes, but that may also be because it goes on with such precision, that perhaps it just didn’t end up getting in my eyes! That a BIG win for me, in my opinion!This one is a game changer, and I am definitely about to stock my makeup case with these!You won’t be disappointed, and it is worththe cost!Truly!!!

Great eyeliner
Just what I was looking for – smudge proof, water proof and staying on. I ordered this in Mulberry so the effect is not stark like black. Although it is pricey, to me it’s worth the cost. I have a droopy eye because of a previous surgery and all the eyeliner brands I have tried eventually smudge during the day under this eye. Some reviews have said there is no color or very little color when applying. I did not have that issue so it seems they had unfortunately received a dried product and they should return the defective product. I found that making one pass, waiting 10 seconds then applying another coat works well. I just ordered another color so here’s hoping it is as good as this one.

Goes on without pulling, but skips over tiny eyelid bumps
Overall this product does what they say it does—goes on without pulling your skin. And I can make it work. Where I am disappointed is that it goes on almost like a powder and skips across any tiny bumps on my eyelid. I pulled my eyelid back to make a smoother delivery, but even then it deviates away from my eyelid line in places. The smudge sponge on the other end helps, but sometimes actually lifts out the liner again leaving blank places. So I have to reapply and resmudge those places. Also, if i just put it on without smudging, it looks like inconsistent, mat-finished powder. So it’s a mixed bag.

Hypoallergenic. Attractive colors with the aging skin.
Appears to be hypoallergenic. I’ve had no issues with it. I would like to see more colors available through Amazon, which is an easier purchase for me. all the colors I’ve purchased have been very attractive for a mature women. It has long wearing power, no smudging and easy removal with just a washcloth.

Pretty eyes all day, for real
Does not budge, for real. Others I’ve tried made similar claims, but they all eventually run or smear or somehow end up on my cheeks. I own 5 of these and won’t go to another brand again.

Stays on all day
I recently used this eyeliner while on our trip to Walt Disney World. We began the day in Magic Kingdom at Tiana’s Bayou where I was fortunate enough to be in the very front. After getting a face full of water we spent the rest of the day in Magic Kingdom before hopping to Hollywood Studio for dinner. After getting wet and spending hours in two parks this eyeliner had not smudged or run in any way yet came off easily with eye makeup remover. My new favorite brand! I would give it 10 starts if possible.

Why is this for “older” women? There is nothing spectacular about this product, in my opinion. The instructions said it included a sharpener. You don’t need one! It’s a little crayon that comes out of a tube as you turn the tube it’s in. Yes, it goes on smoothly.

I am surprised with how smooth the application is. I did have an issue with the tip breaking when I tried to sharpen with its sharpener. I hope it was a fluke because I do love how easy the application is.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Stift!Er ist zwar nicht so ganz billig aber er ist nach langem suchen endlich mal ein Stift der funktioniert.Die Mine ist so cremig, dass er sich gut auftragen lässt, und er hält den ganzen Tag.Praktisch ist auch, dass der Anspitzer und ein Korrekturpad mit dabei ist.Auf jeden Fall ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
