Great watch, if only it was actually new
I didn’t take a star off like I almost did, because the watch itself is really good. Unfortunately, they sold me a used or returned watch and called it new. The main issue with that is when it’s actually new, you need to remove a plastic tab to make battery start up. They do that because it extends battery life. This watch was next to the plastic holder in the box, not on it, rattling around the box with watch already running. So I’ll need a battery much sooner, and I hope it’s not damaged from the watch being loose in its box. I might keep it, or I might get my money back and buy it directly from timex website instead of Amazon. Amazon’s price is way better, but then, it’s not really new, so 🤮. I hope whoever had it first wasn’t dirty or otherwise gross.The watch itself is nice. I was afraid it would look huge and manly, but it’s not at all that way. Mine has dark brown leather and the black fabric strip in middle of strap part. The face is just big enough to read really easily. It definitely doesn’t look manly at all. I love how it looks. The strap is nice, but in warm weather, my wrists and hands have a tendency to swell in heat, so I have to adjust the fit more often. Not a deal breaker, of course. But it’s very comfy. I can wear it all the time (will take off to shower or swim), including wearing it to bed. I take meds, sometimes over night. I need to know the time, so I stay on schedule, and I don’t want to turn on a bright light. The indiglo (I think that’s the name) is great. Just enough light to see what I need to, clearly, but not blindingly bright. I also like how durable it’s supposed to be. From now on, I’m sticking with timex for the durability, quality, and features.I’m replacing a very basic, cheapo casio. It was fine. Probably would have kept, but it didn’t light up at all, and I discovered that was a very important feature for me.So, I wish they would give buyers the choice to buy used if wanted, and save brand new, not-worn or used, items for those who want and pay for new.TL/DR: was used or returned and had battery already running. A really nice watch with good features. Easy to read, and the light up feature is awesome. Great watch overall. If ordering it, you might want to let them know, if it’s important to you, you don’t want it to be used. Other than that one issue I love the watch and recommend it

Super cute. I liked it a lot but I have very small wrists and the strap was too long and too stiff to be comfortable. Because of the style of the band it’s not an option to trim it shorter. Unfortunately I have to return it.

Wouldn’t buy it again – increments hard to discern
Before buying, I thought the red sweep hand and the black and white hour and minute hands would stand out sufficiently to make the watch easy to read. If you’re just trying to get a vague idea of the time, it’s fair enough. If you are trying to time something with fair precision, like timing an egg where minutes and seconds make a big difference, it’s not so hot.Why not so hot? Because of the placement of the increments on the dial. The face is rather small, which is cute, but that smallness means there’s not a lot of room for the increments. It seems like Timex fudged a little and crunched some increments too close to the numerals rather than spreading the evenly. To see what I mean, before you buy, zoom in on the bigger picture of the watch face. Notice the minute increments between the numbers? The lines don’t quite match up where they should when you’re actually trying to time something. The second hand jumps from spot to spot BETWEEN the increments, not on the markings. I have a bear of a time trying to decide just where the minute hand is pointed, because the increments aren’t exactly where they should be. (Problem: This makes a difference if you’re not staring at the watch, watching the hands turn, the entire time you’re timing something)Another negative, the dark colored leather band sometimes leaves dye marks on my wrist.On the plus side, the indiglo light-up dial does work well. The ticking is so quiet I had to turn off my air purifier and put the watch directly to my ear before I could detect a ticking sound. The minute and second hand have some partial coating that glows after being exposed to strong light (like outdoors/sunlight) for a while – but it’s a very brief glow that lasts minutes and is rather faint. (The glow hands are a different feature from the indiglo feature that lights up the dial with the push of a button.)If I had the option, I’d send this watch back and get one of the larger faced analog Timex indiglos instead with a fabric band. (Easier to read increments on bigger face … fabric band washable …. ) … either an Easy Reader or one of the Weekender appears to avoid the shortcomings of this little watch.

NOT WORTH IT! Broke after a month and I can’t return it
This was was amazing at first. I got it so I could tell the time at night when I was awake with my little one. I didn’t realize it had a backlight feature until I set the time and this was honestly amazing. It was light and because I have a small wrist it fit me well. However, a little over a month after getting it the crown keeps popping out and the watch stops. I thought initially it was the battery, but after checking multiple times it looks like the crown is broken… Honestly this wasn’t worth the money to break a little after a month. I will not be buying this again. I would give it one star but I really did appreciate the weight, back light, and the fact that it fit my wrist.

Kleine Damen Armbanduhr, wirkt auf dem Bild größer, Optik wie gewünscht, Zusatzfunktion: beim Drücken des Rädchens kann man auch abends die Uhrzeit ablesen…bin sehr zufrieden! Auch für die Menschen geeignet, die nicht permanent auf ihr Smartphone starren😉😂

Il quadrante è molto piccolo, 28 mm di diametro, consiglio di fare una prova con una moneta da 20 cent per farsi un ‘idea e non rimanere disorientati se siete abituati a quadranti più “normali”. Di conseguenza anche il cinturino è un laccio emostatico.Spedizione Amazon pessima, arrivato con una settimana di ritardo, per 4 giorni il pacco ha fatto avanti e indietro tra due magazzini e a metà strada c’era l’indirizzo di consegna!!!

I was looking for a watch to take on a riding safari. This watch seems to be exactly what I was hoping for:-Small enough for a slim female wrist-Green /khaki colouring-Waterproof-Analogue-Luminous hands (plus backlit screen at the touch of a button)-Not so insanely expensive that I’m going to worry about it all holidayI’m going to an area with patchy electricity so realised I would need to leave my usual Apple Watch behind, and go back to a low-fi model for this trip. It needs to be rugged too – and work with a “1923” style vintage safari look!First impressions: Light, easy and comfortable on the wrist. The colours are great. It feels really well made. There are plenty of holes in the wristband. I also appreciate having the two leather keepers – if you have a slim wrist, you don’t need to have the loose end flapping around, which can be so annoying otherwise. The backlight is very easy to use – just push on the side button and the screen lights up for as long as you keep pressing.Impressively thoughtful design for something so small. It’s like they read my mind!It was slightly more expensive than I had hoped for, but I’ve ended up with something much nicer than planned. Mainly, I’m just relieved to have found a decent, practical watch which is up to the job I need it for, and noter stylish too. Too many ladies’ watches are just – way too girly. And the military-style men’s ones are all too big for me.Whereas this little watch is: pretty much perfect! Thank you, Timex!
