Excellent Product
I’m very pleased with the Vital Vitamins Multi Collagen. It’s easy to swallow, doesn’t upset my stomach. I’ve noticed improvement in my hair and nails since taking it. Hair is stronger—no more strands in my comb and nails are stronger and growing much faster. I took another collagen product for over a year that only had two types of collagen and didn’t see any changes. I’m definitely going to continue with this collagen.

The item seems to be great. So far little to soon to tell. Im having no side affects. I was worried that i would have side affects since I take multiple medications but havent had any. My Dr. recommended and said that I shouldnt have any. So far pleased.

This is the one brand that I always look for in this type of product. I like the fact that it lasts a long time and that I have noticed a huge difference in my skin, nails, and hair while using this product. They are easy to swallow and digest. The company ships the product quickly. It is also a great value for your money. I highly recommend both this product and the company.

Seems to make a difference, seeing positive improvements
I haven’t used other collagen formulas to compare so can’t say about this specifically, but I think I see a difference in how this is affecting my “body chemistry”. I play several string instruments and need to keep my nails in good shape, as well as for carpentry projects where a split fingernail or finger can be painful and cause infection. I see a noticeable difference in the rate of fingernail regrowth, and my skin/hair seems to be getting a boost. Some might argue that sufficient diet a is all that’s necessary for collagen, but the scarcity of collagen in a typical North American diet (mine) caused me to try this out. Based on what I am experiencing so far, I will probably continue to order more. 4 stars as I am still a tiny bit skeptical about most products like this but this is one supplement I seem to notice a definite difference. I will revise my review if I notice I am growing an extra toe in a month or so-or if the hair growing out of my ears becomes completely unmanageable!

Noticetable results in weeks for hair and nails
I recommend this supplement without reservation: this product absolutely works! Over the past couple of years, I have come to learn how important collagen is for many aspects of health. But specifically, I learned that I could speed up healing an injured nail by taking collagen (specifically, these types). 6 capsules is recommended on the package, but I thought that was a lot, so I only take 3 (once a day). My nail grew back in half the time I was told, and I see that all of my nails are stronger and grow faster than they used to. This product has also helped with regrowing hair due to trauma from surgery. I will continue to take this collagen supplement indefinitely and have recommended it to several friends for multiple skin and nail related concerns.The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have any aftertaste, which is very much appreciated.Packaging is clean and informative, and the dosage is simple—just three capsules a day. I’d love to see a breakdown of collagen sources (marine, bovine, etc.) for transparency, but overall, this is a proven, outstanding addition to my wellness routine.

This is by far the best collagen supplement I’ve used. It does not upset my stomach past the first few days which is normal when introducing more collagen into your diet. Also, I NOTICE when I don’t take this! In my joints for sure but mostly in my SKIN! My skin looks AMAZING when I take this regularly!

Some of the Side Effects of Taking Collagen Supplements (Including the ones I experienced)
I have been taking this product since early March 2025 for joint support. I had also started exercising regularly a few weeks earlier and eating a lot healthier, to reduce my weight and have overall better health. In late March, I noticed a small rash on my inner thigh (it fit under a 2×3 band aid). My doctor couldn’t identify it but, because I’ve had relative who have had Shingles, she said it might be that. I was preventatively prescribed an antibiotic and a topical steroid treatment. They took away the uncomfortable symptoms but the rash remains. I noticed that I also developed very mild acne and brittle finger and toe nails. The acne went away but the brittle nails persist. Because I’d made three changes at about the same time (exercise, diet and collagen supplement), I attributed these issues to my body adjusting, expecting them to resolve over time. I did notice, however, my joints felt better. I recently spoke with my sister and she told me she had tried to take different collagen supplements but they all caused her to have rashes on her inner thighs so she stopped taking them. A lightbulb went off in my head and I looked up the possible side effects of taking collagen supplements. I found listed among them not only the side effects I experienced but those of many other people who provided comments here. I’m sharing the side affects I found on the web, for your awareness and to help in your decision-making about this and other brands. This list is not exhaustive; there may be other side effects.What causes collagen side effects?Collagen intake has its benefits, but some people may exhibit side effects due to various factors, including collagen intolerance and improper collagen dosage. I’m in my fifties and I started getting mild pain when climbing the stairs. A friend told me to take collagen type II so when I saw this product with collagen type II, I thought I will give it a go. After taking it for a week I found out my joints pain is getting better. I will continue taking this product and hopefully can see more positive results. Thank you.
