‘THE’ DOG BRUSH – you’ve found it! It’s THAT dog brush for shedding breeds. It’s THAT dog brush for detangling. It’s THAT brush groomers love and recommend. Chris Christensen Big G Slicker Brush is the original doodle brush for deshedding, detangling, and creating a finished look. Fluff, detangle, and style with one professional tool. Available in a coral color and three sizes to fit the requirements of a professional groomer and show exhibitor.
DESHEDDING BRUSH – removes trapped undercoat with less strokes. The extra-long angled pins effectively reach down into the coat removing dead and loose undercoat. The hair remains trapped inside the brush until removed. Perfect for double-coated breeds, especially during the shedding season. Get maximum results, with less work when using the Big G Slicker. It is your workhorse.
DETANGLING BRUSH – this slicker brush is ideal for removing fine knots from long-coated breeds and the tiny mats hidden in tight curly-coated breeds. With 30% more pins than other slickers, the Big G slicker works 30% harder for you. Brushing with this slicker brush is easier, faster and will make your job grooming painless.
POODLE BRUSH – the long, dense pins are perfect for fluffing curly, cottony coats and fluffing and shaping heads, toplines, and legs. Ideal for Poodles, Bichons, Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, and other Doodle breeds.
THOUGHT-OUT DESIGN – every pin is angled for gentle brushing and sits within a flexible cushioned pad allowing the pins to flex softly and glide through the coat. The unique handle design with a non-slip grip reduces hand and arm fatigue and the extreme curved back allows additional control, movement, and direction when brushing. Brushing multiple dogs has never been easier.
HANDMADE IN GERMANY – Chris Christensen Original Big G Slicker Brush is handmade in Germany with unsurpassed quality and workmanship. Each brush is meticulously inspected from the pins to the handle. It will withstand years of use, even with daily grooming, and is backed with a 6-month warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

Awesome brush that is well worth the price.
This brush works like magic. It makes quick work of brushing out my cavapoo and the bristles don’t feel sharp and pokey like my other slicker brush that she hates. It is well worth the price. Now I wish I had gotten one of these sooner. The brush itself is very sturdy and easy to use, light weight and looks pretty too. The tines are long and blunted on the ends and do not bend easily like other slicker brushes. I will never use any other slicker brush again.

This is a great brush!
I had a basic slicker brush for my cat that I got at the local pet store. However I follow a groomer (girl with the dogs) on YouTube and she uses this all the time. You wouldn’t think it makes that much of a difference but this is a really good design and it’s very effective for helping to shed out loose hair. Yes it’s expensive, but I think it’s worth it.

The best brush for my poodles!
Great product! Very gentle bristles! Detangles the hair without hurting them! My dogs love being brushed with this so much, they fall asleep as I’m brushing them! Literally the best purchase! Well worth the money!

Truly high quality brush.
I got the small one, Baby K (black rubber one).- Solid material on the handle.- Gave it a test run on my 7 month old Samoyed, used it for the whole body (thing about how I groom, large brushes don’t work well for us tldr.. I use shorter faster strokes). Bristles held perfectly.- Combed the outer fur really nicely, removed a lot of undercoat (“wool”).- The polished and rounded bristle tips do in fact make a HUGE difference compared to cheaper slicker brushes’, my dog LOVED it (almost) instantly. He was clearly not feeling any scraping on his skin.I normally don’t say this in general but, this IS a case where the higher price is definitely reflected in the quality.

Cuts your work in half! Worth the price!
OMG! This slicker brush is fabulous! It cut my thorough brush time almost in half! The large size with long pins covers more territory and gets deeper into Gabby’s coat and I didn’t hurt her once. Great for her and me both. She is a Cockapoo with lots of black wavy hair, that is now shining! Worth its weight in gold!

Works well, but WHY IS IT $65???
We had a cheap brush before getting this one. It worked okay, but the shorter bristles felt like they weren’t getting very deep. We wondered if that was the reason for all of the shedding, since the Bernedoodle is supposed to be a low shedder. We did a lot of research for top brands, and this one was on every single list if not at the top of them. Everyone gushed about its miraculous ability to glide through fur, to break through clumps, to leave a coat sleek and shiny, and to reduce shedding with removing the undercoat. So many people claimed that their dog usually hated being brushed, but oh, not with THIS brush! THIS one will have them on their butts for hours, happily wagging their tails from such a luxurious grooming experience. BUT THE PRICE. $65? And that’s less than the actual listing price of $83. If you google “slicker brush,” the next highest price I see is around $30, but the majority are an average of $20. Why is it so expensive??? I thought it must have the most cutting-edge design to boast such a number. It took us forever to finally justify getting this. But we did. And…I’m a bit underwhelmed after all the hype. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good brush. It does feel like it gets in there pretty deep and it doesn’t pull as much. But she still sheds a lot, even though we brush her often (I guess the brand itself doesn’t technically claim that it does that, but man, lots of influencers were claiming it did). And the result looks almost the same. I feel a bit scammed. $65? Really? I’d moan less about it if it was $45, $50 tops. It’s like those makeup brands that sell a 1.5 oz serum for $300, when other companies sell theirs for $15 and it does the same thing.

Great brush for an old pom
This is worth the money! This was one of the brushes recommended on the channel from The Girl with the Dogs. For reference, I have a 13-year-old, seven pound Pomeranian. She’s generally very well-behaved with grooming but has a couple spots that are really hard to brush and also happen to be the spots that really need that brushing. I was glad that I read through the description of this more thoroughly when I was deciding on the brush to get. I almost missed it, but there is an actual difference between the brushes themselves beyond just the color. Get the peach one. You can scroll down through the description to read more about the differences. It actually does hold the hair in the brush without getting stuck in it. Compared to similar brushes I’ve tried for a range in prices, this one seems to bother her less as well. Sometimes she gets flaky skin, which can be a challenge for brushes that have spikes that aren’t designed well. This helps get out the mats in the spots that she hates with less complaining or anger. The handle feels nice in the hand, especially as someone who struggles with arthritis. I like that I’m not losing bits of hair as a I brush and can just pick up the clump straight off the brush and into the can. Although there was a small and large option, I am glad that I purchased the medium. It is faster to brush her with it for most of her body, even in more contained spots – at least with a dog who usually isn’t fighting me the whole time. If you had a smaller dog or one that does more acrobatics the whole way through, you may want the smaller brush. Recommend!

I hesitated for months to buy this brush because I heard it was great, but the price made me pause. I wondered if the the brush was really worth the price. I finally bought it and after my first three brush strokes on my long haired, double coated dog I was convinced and had zero regret buying this brush. Brush time has also become easier for me and more pleasant for my dog.

A bit pricey but does the job very well. The dogs like it as well. Works great on our bedlington terrier

This looks like a non authentic Chris Christiansen brush. It doesnt have an etched logo/signature. Packaging is not as per shown picture. Item can only be returned on the same day??

Ends of wires are bent at the right angle, also finished with roundwd ends so no tearing when you brush. Does a good job the first time. Doesnt make my dog like it any better but takes less time to get things done.
