A little piece of Jordan
The first thing I did after I got this bag, and before even opening it, was to go back and purchase a second bag. I lived in Jordan when I was younger, so Jordan has a special place in my heart. My visits to the Dead Sea are permanent memories in my mind. The bag itself that the salt comes in is high-end with a great texture, and is a great way to display a little piece of Jordan. I didn’t know that’s why I wanted this until it arrived.I’m going to keep my second bag sealed, but I went ahead and opened my first one. The rosemary scent is quite strong, but not unpleasant. The salt is of very good quality. The bag isn’t large, if you’re doing a bath this really is only enough for one bath. My use is more of a direct application scrub so it’s got plenty for several uses that way. However the price point I think appropriately reflects the bag’s smaller size. If you’re not using the whole bag in one go, it is resealable.

I used this salt in both my tub and in my foot soaker. It dissolves quickly. Leaves my skin feeling softer. Pleasant smell. It’s more expensive than some of the ones I usually buy but its of good quality.

This salt is comparable to other brands for soaking. The bag was thick enough to stand on its own but it was difficult to open. The closure is on the side of the pack which makes it more difficult to open and zip close. The pack is small so it will only last you a few foot soaks.

I was quite satisfied after trying these Dead Sea Salts for the first time. The scent was aromatic and pleasant. The salts dissolved rapidly, and the lavender aroma was wonderful to savor while sitting in my jacuzzi. The size of this bag will suffice for a few bathing sessions. I love that these salts were harvested from the Dead Sea. The present selling price is very good. See the accompanying images.

My Numeira 100% Natural Premium Dead Sea Bath Salts arrived in a heavy paper bag that shows a very brief list of ingredients (just the salts and rosemary oil) along with directions for use and a date of production of 02/24 and an expiration date of 02/27. The product is made in Jordan. The instructions for use indicated that the bag should be torn open using a tab. With my elderly hands, this was not the easiest thing for me to do, but I did complete the task, releasing the fantastic fragrance of the ingredients contained inside. There is no added fragrance, so the scent is just that of the ingredients themselves. I was a little apprehensive about putting the bath crystals inside the tub, having remembered another experience where the green-colored crystals left green residue inside my tub that was almost impossible to remove. These crystals are white, and there was no issue with the crystals dissolving or leaving any sort of residue inside my tub.My bath experience was nothing short of heavenly. The water felt silky as did my skin and the sides of the tub itself. My muscles felt relaxed as I soaked in my warm tub, inhaling the beautiful fragrance and allowing my elderly skin to be softened and feeling like it did many years ago. I experienced none of the usual dryness I feel after bathing, even on this cold, wintery day with the forced air heat running almost constantly. It was one of those experiences that can be difficult to describe other than saying I was totally at peace. I emerged from the tub with the same silky skin and proceeded to apply skin cream only out of habit. My skin did not look or feel like it was needed, which is unusual for me.I am happy to recommend Numeira 100% Natural Premium Dead Sea Bath Salts to anyone looking for a heavenly, fragrant, ultimate bath experience that will leave behind silky skin, a beautiful and refreshing fragrance, and a clean tub. I experienced a perfect bathing experience and look forward to my next one. This would also, I believe, make a lovely gift for a very special someone.

When I opened the package, I could smell the minerals in these bath salts. The salt smelled like dry earth or clay. I use this product to make home made salt scrub, and it worked out great.Here is my personal recipe:1 cup mineral salts1/4 cup olive or avocado oil1/4 cup water* Most recipes do not use water 1/4 but the salt is course and needs the water to dissolve a little20 drops of your favorite essential oilAny add ins like ground up herbsIt dissolves very well as is if you just want to pour it in a bath. Der Inhalt reicht für 1 bis 2 Vollbäder. Was soll man bei dem hohen Preis dazu noch sagen? Man wird günstigeres Badesalz aus dem toten Meer hier finden. Ob es da Qualitätsunterschiede gibt und ob diese relevant für ein Bad sind, weiß ich nicht.Totes Meer Magnesiumchlorid wird ebenfalls von diesem Hersteller angeboten. Totes Meer Badesalz (nicht das Magnesiumchlorid) unterscheidet sich von normalem Meersalz in der Zusammensetzung. Es enthält meines Wissens weniger Natriumchlorid, dafür mehr Magnesiumchlorid und Kaliumchlorid.Das von diesem Hersteller zuvor genannte Magnesiumchlorid wird dann vermutlich nur Magnesiumchlorid enthalten.Bei diesem Magnesiumchlorid soll das Magnesium vermutlich über die Haut aufgenommen werden, was dann zu einer Muskelentspannung führen könnte. Bleibt fraglich, ob man davon profitiert, wenn man Magnesium sowieso schon supplementiert. Da wird dann eher das warme Wasser ausschlaggebend sein.Bei diesem Badesalz ist dann weniger Magnesiumchlorid – wie oben beschrieben – enthalten und ich würde es dann eher als “Wellness” verstehen im Gegensatz zum Magnesiumchlorid, bei dem ich die Anwendung etwas spezifischer sehe.Es ist sehr grob und geruchsneutral. Trotz der Grobheit lösst es sich auf. Bestenfalls schüttet man das Zeug sofort beim Wasser einlassen in die Wanne.Da der Preis jedoch sehr hoch ist und für eine Anwendung nicht zu rechtfertigen ist, hier mal ein Vorschlag meinerseits. Danach fühlt sich die Haut wie eingecremt und weich an:2-3 Esslöffel Totes Meer Badesalz oder Magnesiumchlorid3EL Milch (dient als Emulgator)1TL MCT Öl (wird aus Kokosöl hergestellt)10 Tropfen Rosmarinöl oder 5 Tropfen Eukalyptusöl oder 5 Tropfen WacholderbeerenDie angegebenen Öle sollten ebenfalls bei Verspannungen helfen können. Die Milch dient dazu, dass sich das MCT-Öl gut mit dem Wasser vermischen kann. Ist auch gut für die Haut.So kommt man länger damit aus, spart Geld und der Effekt ist möglicherweise besser. So genau kann ich das nicht beurteilen, da meine Verspannungen sehr hartnäckig sind und eigentlich nur der Physio dabei helfen kann.Letztendlich vermute ich jedoch, dass das warme Wasser den höchsten Effekt erzielt.Umwelttechnisch sind Badesalz oder Magnesiumchlorid nicht unbedenklich. Möglicherweise schneidet Magnesiumchlorid etwas besser ab. Auch von daher finde ich 2 Tassen pro Vollbad möglicherweise nicht unproblematisch, wenn man das häufiger machen will.Haltbarkeitsdatum auf der Verpackung bis 12/27. Möglicherweise auch sehr viel länger, da Salz selber konservierend wirkt.
