Love it!
Been using it for a while now and really like the Mat. It has enough Grip for me to wear socks (i get cold lol) and the thickness is perfect for me! Love the Design as well

Could be wider, but otherwise quite nice.
I really like this mat, but it wasn’t quite perfect. It grips well, I love the pattern on both sides, and the thickness of the mat felt just right for me, but it seems to be a bit more narrow than my previous mats. It’s not so narrow that it really impedes my practice, but I am having to make slight adjustments to accommodate the difference between it and what I’m used to. Thus far, the mat seems to be holding up well to several practices a week, and I feel confident that this will be my mat for the foreseeable future. 30ish bucks was a very fair price the performance I’ve received.

Disappointing
I have two Gaiam yoga mats and this one is not as good. Even though it is cushier and heavier (which I wanted), it has a very strong rubbery odor that I can’t get rid of. I’ve left it outside to air out, washed with mild soap, and even though the smell is fading it’s not gone. Also, it is not smooth. I can feel bumps on the material and it’s scratchy on my skin. The colors and designs are beautiful but not symmetrical, it’s like it was cut at an uneven angle. I won’t be returning as I’ve used it (hoping it would get better) but would not recommend.

Surface wore out in a month
Started wearing out in a month. This is used purely for floor exercises with no weights, by a fairly lightweight person.I’ve had Gaiam mats before, which lasted 7 years. but this one is not the same quality. I will not buy this again.

Pretty, Comfy, and Doesn’t Slip
This Gaiam yoga mat has a nice cushion for knees and wrists, and the grip is good for both yoga and workouts. I love the reversible prints — it looks pretty and feels sturdy, and it rolls up easily for storage or carrying.

Grippy, thin and stinky
I like the mat pattern, the mat itself does provide grip without being too thick. It does border on too thin, for my 55 year old knees (without any known knee injury). However, that’s a personal issue and not a manufacturer issue. It may be perfectly fine for you. I end up putting a small folded towel under the kne and it is fine. The mat provides enough resistance to hold the towel in place.The reason for the missing star is the mat needs to air out for longer than I expected. There is a heavy chemical smell which took about a week diminish. I can still smell it occasionally during outdoor or warm yoga practice. I have been using the mat for approximately 2 weeks. It stays hanging in my garage or shaded porch when not packed for class.

Woke up with a migraine. It SMELLS to high heaven, I almost woke up in heaven. This product should be labeled chemical hazard or something. It’s honestly my fault for not checking the reviews before purchase, but I saw “ooh a pretty mat” and went for the purchase. I just wish the company put such an important detail as part of the images that comes with the product (you know, at the top of the screen?) instead of ONLY putting it in the description (I know everyone should check the description, but USUALLY, important pieces of information are included with the images at the top, maybe I’m spoiled by more transparent companies, idk). OR (if you’re reading this Gaiam) it would be lovely if they could add just a cute little notecard that says “by the way, you should air out your mat for a few days so you don’t feel like an elephant was sitting on your head all night.” This is the first time I purchased a yoga mat online, as I usually just grab one from Ross or TJ Maxx or something, but I wanted something with a little more pizzazz. And you know what, pizzazz I did get. 3 stars instead of 1 (or negative 50) because, smell aside, the mat functions exactly as you want it to. It’s nice and thick so my 70 year old joints (even though I’m not even 30 yet, hush) are nice and comfortable as I try (and fail) to do poses I’m sure grandmas next door can do. It also feels a lot nicer than some store bought options (I also don’t frequent expensive stores though) so it feels like it might last a while. When using it (on tile), it doesn’t slip or anything. The only issue I have, which I feel doesn’t apply to most people, is I’m 6’0 so some poses makes me feel like I need to use a much bigger yoga mat (maybe I just need an area rug at this point). So my height aside, A+ across the board for almost everything. Currently A+ for durability, but we’ll see how long it lasts with daily use. F-/Z for smell, Mr/Ms Yoga Mat will have to retake this class again next year and hope for a better grade.

J’ai lu des critiques sur ce produit disant qu’il sentait fort. J’ai donc hésité à l’acheter, mais je l’ai fait et je ne le regrette pas. Je n’ai pas constaté une si forte odeur que ça lorsque j’ai déballé le tapis, et dans tous les cas elle est partie très vite. Ce tapis est beau, suffisamment épais pour protéger les articulations sensibles. Avec le temps et l’usage, il ne s’abime pas. Il répond parfaitement à mes attentes. Je le recommande
