Lightweight Dryer, Excellent Product
I’ve only ever used drug store dryers (i.e. Revlon), so this was quite a change. The picture makes this dryer look light blue, but when I received it, it was white. I did a lot of research before I decided on this particular model. My hairdresser recommended either Rusk or Elchim, but after reading reviews, I decided on Rusk W8less due to the fact that it is lighter in weight. If you have nerve compression issues, or if you just have a hard time holding hair dryers for a long period of time, then this is a blow dryer that definitely feels lighter in weight than my old Revlon dryer felt. I had never known that the quality of my hair could also feel much sleeker and less frizzy just by investing a little more money in to a good blow dryer. After I would use my old Revlon, my hair would be poofy and frizzy, but this is not so with Rusk W8less. I was so surprised to feel my hair after my very first use. Also, as with any hair tool, it did take a few tries to get used to how to use this dryer compared to the much cheaper dryers at drug stores. It blows harder and the heat is just right even on ‘hot.’ The top button is a cold shot button, the middle button is the heat level (warm, cool, hot), and the bottom is for level of drying you want (low, off, high). Pretty simple. It came with only one concentrator (the ad said two when I bought it, but it is only one). The cord is longer than it is with cheaper dryers. Price-wise this was definitely cheaper than some other high end dryers, but more expensive than a drug store dryer. Overall, it is definitely worth the bit extra and I will definitely continue to buy Rusk products in the future.A YEAR LATER:It’s been over a year later and this dryer is still going strong! The drying time is shorter than other hair dryers, and the dryer still works just as well as it did when I first purchased it. I LOVE this blow dryer! Will definitely be buying another one whenever this one finally dies.

Great blow dryer, great price. Smooths frizzy hair. Buy this over Kadori. I’ve used both.
I am buying this item after my Kadori Pro LIA 2500 gave out on me in under 2 years. I purchased the Rusk W8less for my mom after she tried my Kadori and asked for me to get her one as a gift as well. Instead, I got her the Rusk W8less because she has bad wrists and I thought it was important for her to not do any more damage to them. The Rusk W8less blow dryer, while half the price ($77), actually does a much better job. I never believed that a blow dryer can make a difference when it comes to frizz. I thought the Kadori was doing a good job until I used the Rusk. I was actually amazed at the difference. I usually have to really work to straighten out the hair and reduce the frizz, but with the Rusk, it just sort of happened without me putting in much effort. It’s also much lighter than the Kadori, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. The Rusk blows air in a way where your hair isn’t blowing all over the place, it’s somehow calmer, more directed, yet manages to dry hair very quickly. So, since this Kadori quit on me unexpectedly, I’m going to ahead and switch to the Rusk W8less myself. And since Rusk offers 2 years warranty, compared to Kadori’s 1 year, at least I know I can count on having this product under warranty for at least 4 years since I’ll be buying with a credit card that doubles the warranty. I’m surprised that for such an expensive product ($160), Kadori offers only 1 year warranty and their customer service didn’t offer me any refund/repair/replacement when I reached out to them. I’d think that for such a high end, quality product, the company would stand by their product and offer a longer warranty. Perhaps it’s not as high quality as it pretends to be.Aug 2018 update. Still absolutely love this blow dryer! My arm never gets tired. I don’t even have to think about that anymore. Works wonderfully.

Great hair dryer
Great hair dryer and has enough heat to do the job for straightening. Great weight for travel and daily use. Has plenty of heat settings. This is my second one. The first one lasted eight years. Not a bad price for that length of time.

Very good hairdryer
I bought this hairdryer because it was recommended by NY Times. There is lots to love about it: lightweight, strong air flow, great heat delivery. My only negative comment is that my fingers hit the buttons and turn it off or change the heat setting in the middle of trying to blow dry my hair.

4 girls, 1 blow dryer
I have very thick (3 inch ponytail), coarse, long hair (just below my shoulder blades). This does a fantastic job and FAST. I can go from wet, just out of the shower, to dry in under 10 minutes. I barely need to round brush/blow out the last couple of minutes. My hair hasn’t ever looked this good. It’s shiny, straighter and more polished. I’ve not changed anything else I do, I’ve been asked a few times what shampoo I use, etc. It’s the blowdryer that’s doing the trick! I dry mine on High heat & air.It also does an amazing job on my daughters hair which couldn’t be more opposite. Her hair is on the thin side and rather wispy. I round brush it with a little dab of Redken Satinwear 02 and her hair stays sleek and in place. Her blow out stayed in great shape for two days. That has never happened before, within minutes of playing it would turn back into an unruly halo of frizz and snarls. I dry hers on Low heat/air, it takes a bit longer, but the High is way to hot for a child.I have two other daughters; getting everyone’s hair done and ready is much faster and the results are phenomenal. My last blow dryer was very old (15 years) so in comparison this one is much lighter and quieter. Like others have said the attachment pops off pretty easily. I don’t really use it or need to, so it’s not an issue for me.I live in Alabama, and my hair has stayed sleek and smooth even during the rain. I haven’t had it during the summer yet, but I have high hopes in combatting the worst of the frizz.I’ve had it for about a month and am still very impressed.
